MPLAB PICkit 3 allows debugging and programming at the optimal price point of the PIC ® and dsPIC ® Flash micro controllers by using the powerful graphical user interface of the MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment (IDE). MPLAB PICkit 3 attaches to the designer ' s computer using a full speed USB interface and can be connected to the target via the Microchip debugger (RJ-11) host (compatible with MPLAB ICD 2, MPLAB ICD 3, and MPLAB REAL ICE). Connector uses two device G/Q pini and the reset line for off-circuit debugging and In-Circuit Serial Programming ™ .
