Kestrel 5100 is a handheld weather meter designed specifically for racing. It allows you to obtain accurate weather data at any time at the racing venue. It is small in size and compact in structure. Kestrel 5100 is an upgraded product of the previous generation Kestrel 4250. It has the same reliable accuracy, reliability and usability, and a very friendly interface. It can measure moisture content, air density, relative air density (RAD), relative humidity, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind speed, etc., and can be used in scientific research, racing, etc. 
The latest Kestrel 5 series handheld weather meter has added many new features and options. The large screen, high resolution, high contrast and font readability are impressive. The Kestrel 5 series also includes a built-in two-color backlight, polycarbonate lens and AA battery power supply, and provides optional LINK iOS and Android wireless connection. Like all Kestrel handheld weather meters, Kestrel 5100 has passed drop tests, dust tests, waterproof tests, etc., and can withstand harsh environments without damage, so it can go anywhere with the racing car. 
In addition to all the functions of Kestrel5100, Kestrel5100Link also has Kestrel Link function, which allows users to view current data in real time on their mobile phones, and can also send data wirelessly to computers or mobile phones, making the transmission method more flexible and diverse. Kestrel 5100LiNK can display the data of various meteorological parameters in real time on mobile phones through the Kestrel LiNK application (iOS and Android), and the visual distance between the mobile phone and the weather instrument is 2.5 meters. 

In addition to measuring current environmental data in real time, the Kestrel 5100 can track and record over 10,000 sets of time-stamped data that can be wirelessly transferred to a mobile device or to a PC/MAC via the Kestrel LiNKDongle or USB Data Transfer Cable.
